Koh Thmei Island

Koh Thmei Island is part of the Ream National Park.

Koh Thmei itself is about eight kilometers long and seven kilometers wide and the habitat of many different species of animals.

Watch civets, monkeys, lizards and especially birds.

More than 150 species of birds have their home in the Ream National Park. A trip to the island offers plenty of bird watching opportunities. The fish cat lives in the wetlands, near streams and mangrove forests.

On the island there are only two settlements with little population. On the southeast coast is the Taly Village, the larger settlement Chong Thmei Village is located in the northeast.

Diving, snorkeling, jungle trekking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and exploring the island are some of the activities offered there.
