If you cross the border towns of Aranyaprathet (on the Thai side) and Poipet (Cambodian side), the provincial town of Sisophon is the first major city in Cambodia.

The city of Sisophon is located in the district of Serei Saophoan, on the National Road 5 and National Road 6. On the National Road 6 via Kralanh to Siem Reap and continue Kampong Thma to Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia.

National Road 5 continues from Sisophon via Battambang and Pursat on the 55th to Koh Kong. From Pursat on National Road 5 to Krong Kampong Chhnang to Phnom Penh.
